On board the Type 12 frigate HMS Falmouth (1959) alongside the Swan, Hunter & Wigham Richardson Ltd fitting out berth at Wallsend on the River Tyne between 1 and 25 July 1961. The photographer is in the cooling machinery compartment between 33 and 35½ stations on the starboard side of 4 deck looking to port and slightly aft showing two air conditioning plant compressor units. The refrigeration machinery control panel is in the alcove against the port bulkhead and the door to the compartment is on the right. A vertical format negative.
