On board the Type 12 frigate HMS Falmouth (1959) alongside the Swan, Hunter & Wigham Richardson Ltd fitting out berth at Wallsend on the River Tyne between 1 and 25 July 1961. The photographer is in the wardroom between 35 and 41 stations on the starboard side of 2 deck looking aft and to starboard from 35½ station showing two tables set athwartships with each having nine chairs. A sideboard is on the port side on the extreme right. The lounge area at the aft end of the room has four armchairs, coffee tables, two bench settees, an electric fire, a loudspeaker, two air circulation fans and a clock reading 6.45. A framed photograph of Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh in the uniform of an Admirtal of the Fleet is against the ship's side.
