On board the Type 12 frigate HMS Falmouth (1959) alongside the Swan, Hunter & Wigham Richardson Ltd fitting out berth at Wallsend on the River Tyne between 1 and 25 July 1961. The photographer is in the boiler room between 41 and 49 stations on 3 - 4 deck looking aft from the middle platform on the port side showing the Crompton Parkinson Ltd generator K supply cabinet to port of the 400 Kw A.C. turbo generator. Four gauges at the top of the cabinet measure amperes, kilowatts, volts and cycles. Spare cable stowage and a fuse panel are against the ship's side. A vertical format negative.
