On board the Type 12 frigate HMS Falmouth (1959) alongside the Swan, Hunter & Wigham Richardson Ltd fitting out berth at Wallsend on the River Tyne between 1 and 25 July 1961. The photographer is in the wardroom between 35 and 41 stations on the starboard side of 2 deck looking aft from 38½ station showing the lounge area at the aft end of the room which has four armchairs, two coffee tables, two bench settees, an electric fire, a loudspeaker, two air circulation fans, a Thermotank air conditioning unit, a writing bureau on the right and a clock reading 6.44½.
