On board the Type 12 frigate HMS Falmouth (1959) alongside the Swan, Hunter & Wigham Richardson Ltd fitting out berth at Wallsend on the River Tyne between 1 and 25 July 1961. The photographer is in the wireless telegraphy and visual signals store between 38½ and 39½ stations on 02 deck in the base of the lattice mast for the type 277Q radar. A hinged lid locker is on the right with a pigeon hole shelf above it. Galvanized shelves with timber retaining bars are on the left. A vertical format negative.
