On board the Type 12 frigate HMS Falmouth (1959) alongside the Swan, Hunter & Wigham Richardson Ltd fitting out berth at Wallsend on the River Tyne between 1 and 25 July 1961. The photographer is in the senior officer's day cabin between 35¼ and 38¼ stations on the port side of 1 deck looking aft showing a table with six chairs and an armchair in the centre of the cabin. A desk and a sideboard are on either side of the ventilation trunking on the starboard side. An electric fire and an air conditioning unit are against the ship's side. A framed photograph of H.M. Queen Elizabeth II is on the aft bulkhead. A sliding door leading into the pantry and a wooden door leading to the lobby are in the aft bulkhead.
