On board the Type 12 frigate HMS Falmouth (1959) alongside the Swan, Hunter & Wigham Richardson Ltd fitting out berth at Wallsend on the River Tyne between 1 and 25 July 1961. The photographer is in the commanding officer's cabin between 27½ and 30½ stations on the starboard side of 1 deck looking to port and slightly aft from 29 station on the starboard side showing two armchairs in the centre of the cabin. A settee berth, a bookshelf and an air circulating fan are against the port bulkhead. A desk is on the left and the door to the cabin is in the aft bulkhead. A washbasin, toiletries cabinet and towel rail together with the door into the W.C. and shower cubicle are in a curtained alcove.
