On board the Type 12 frigate HMS Falmouth (1959) alongside the Swan, Hunter & Wigham Richardson Ltd fitting out berth at Wallsend on the River Tyne between 1 and 25 July 1961. The photographer is in the commanding officer's cabin between 27½ and 30½ stations on the starboard side of 1 deck looking aft and to starboard showing two armchairs in the centre of the cabin. A settee berth is against the port bulkhead on the extreme right with a washbasin and toiletries cabinet in a curtained alcove. A desk with a bookcase and cupboard above is against the aft bulkhead on the left of the door to the cabin. A wardrobe and cupboard with drawers under are against the ship's side.
