On board the Type 12 frigate HMS Falmouth (1959) alongside the Swan, Hunter & Wigham Richardson Ltd fitting out berth at Wallsend on the River Tyne between 1 and 25 July 1961. The photographer is in the main passageway, known as the Burma Road, between 49 and 61½ stations on 2 deck looking aft and to starboard from 58 station showing two fuse panels, an intercom loudspeaker, a fire extinguisher, hose rack, fie main standpipe, four Nu-Swift fire extinguisher cartridges and a telephone against the sickbay bulkhead. The door to the sickbay is to the left of the closed but not clipped watertight door in bulkhead 61½. A vertical format negative.
