On board the Type 12 frigate HMS Falmouth (1959) alongside the Swan, Hunter & Wigham Richardson Ltd fitting out berth at Wallsend on the River Tyne between 1 and 25 July 1961. The photographer is in the electrical workshop between 29½ and 31 stations on the starboard side of 4 deck looking to starboard showing a steel bench fitted with a Parkinson Model J 35 Samsonia Perfect vice and with drawers and shelves under. A pitometer log controller is above the bench. Against the forward bulkhead are a waste bin, a telephone and a junction box with the pitometer log speed and distance transmitter on the extreme left. A workbench equipped with a vice and a drill stand is against the starboard side of the ship and three cupboards are mounted above it. A vertical format negative.
