The photographer is in the seamen's mess between 68 and 75 stations on 3 deck looking to starboard from the port side at 68½ station showing kit lockers, an emergency change over switch and connection box, an electric fire, an ironing board and an air conditioning unit against the forward bulkhead. An open watertight hatch leading down to 4 deck is near the forward bulkhead. Kit lockers, a greatcoat locker and a hammock stowage bin are on the right. A vertical format negative.
