The photographer is in the gland compartment between 62½ and 64 stations on 4 deck looking to port from the starboard side of the compartment showing the narrow passage between Nos 7 and. 8 furnace fuel oil tanks and the forward bulkhead at 62½ station. Lever valves and pipes for the starboard stern tube lubricating oil system are on the left. A capacity gauge for the port stern tube lubricating oil storage tank is on the port side. A vertical format negative.
