On board the Type 12 frigate HMS Falmouth (1959) alongside the Swan, Hunter & Wigham Richardson Ltd fitting out berth at Wallsend on the River Tyne between 1 and 25 July 1961. The photographer is in the Limbo Mk. 10 mortar well between 61½ and 71 stations on 2 deck looking forward and slightly to starboard from the starboard side of No.2 Limbo mortar at 66½ station showing oil fuel hoses stored by the side of the mounting. The Mediterranean ladder and a twin float paravane arestowed against the starboard bulkhead. A washdeck and decontamination locker, a decontamination clothing bin and a first aid cabinet are against the forward bulkhead. The ship is berthed starboard side to the quay.
