On board the Type 12 frigate HMS Falmouth (1959) alongside the Swan, Hunter & Wigham Richardson Ltd fitting out berth at Wallsend on the River Tyne between 1 and 25 July 1961. The photographer is in the ship's supply office between 32¼ and 35½ stations on the port side of 3 deck looking forward showing a Gestetner 105 duplicating machine on top of a cupboard on the left with bookshelves and a Thermotank air conditioning unit above it. Two single pedestal desks are against the forward bulkhead with sliding door cupboards and pigeon hole shelves above them. Against the starboard bulkhead forward of the office door are a cupboard, emergency lantern, key cabinet and a clock reading 7.38.
