On board the Type 12 frigate HMS Falmouth (1959) alongside the Swan, Hunter & Wigham Richardson Ltd fitting out berth at Wallsend on the River Tyne between 1 and 25 July 1961. The photographer is in the steering gear compartment between 75 and 80 stations on 3 deck looking aft from the starboard side at 77 station showing the steering engine cage on the right and a steel naval stores cupboard on the left. Sparred wooden shelving housing coils of rope and wire are against the transom. A vertical format negative.
