On board the Type 12 frigate HMS Falmouth (1959) alongside the Swan, Hunter & Wigham Richardson Ltd fitting out berth at Wallsend on the River Tyne between 1 and 25 July 1961. The photographer is in the radar type 262 local maintenance annexe between 58 and 59¾ stations on 1 deck looking forward and to starboard showing three single pedestal desks with chairs. An Olivetti typewriter is on the middle desk and a two drawer filing cabinet is in the starboard forward corner. A key cupboard and three small bookshelves are against the forward bulkhead. A foam fire extinguisher is against the aft bulkhead. Two wooden boxes are on the deck, one labelled S1171B and the other being D1191B.
