The photographer is in the sick bay between 58¾ and 61½ stations on 2 deck looking aft and to port showing the operating table in the foreground. Against the aft bulkhead are 2 patient's kit lockers with a bacteriological cupboard above them, a double medical cupboard, a two pedestal desk with a paper rack and a cupboard above it, and a tubular chair. Against the port bulkhead are a small key cabinet, a refrigerator with a sterilizer on it and an equipment cupboard above, a drawer unit fitted with a stainless steel top, and a poisons cupboard above.
