On board the Type 12 frigate HMS Falmouth (1959) alongside the Swan, Hunter & Wigham Richardson Ltd fitting out berth at Wallsend on the River Tyne between 1 and 25 July 1961. The photographer is in the asdic hull outfit 20 compartment between 15½ and 19 stations on 4 deck looking forward and to port showing control and fuse panels and a telephone against the port bulkhead. The training motor is ahead of the asdic scanner head. The H.O. 20 compartment contains the Type 177 asdic. A vertical format negative.
