On board the Type 12 frigate HMS Falmouth (1959) alongside the Swan, Hunter & Wigham Richardson Ltd fitting out berth at Wallsend on the River Tyne between 1 and 25 July 1961. The photographer is in the C.P.Os and P.Os W.Cs. between 62½ and 64½ stations on the port side of 2 deck looking to starboard showing a cubicle door on the extreme left with the airlock door next to it. A spring loaded fire main valve and gauge are against the starboard bulkhead. A curved fire main connecting pipe is fixed to the aft bulkhead. A vertical format negative.
