On board the Type 12 frigate HMS Falmouth (1959) alongside the Swan, Hunter & Wigham Richardson Ltd fitting out berth at Wallsend on the River Tyne between 1 and 25 July 1961. The photographer is in the main passageway, known as the Burma Road, between 49 and 61½ stations on 2 deck looking to starboard and forward from 56 station showing damage control locker no. 2 and three dirty clothes lockers with a fire extinguisher next to it. The stairs up to 1 deck , the side of a large bread locker and the door to the C.P.Os and P.Os dining hall are in the lobby. A vertical format negative.
