On board the Type 12 frigate HMS Falmouth (1959) alongside the Swan, Hunter & Wigham Richardson Ltd fitting out berth at Wallsend on the River Tyne between 1 and 25 July 1961. The photographer is in the engineer's and ordnance workshop between 46¾ and 49 stations on the starboard side of 2 deck looking to port and slightly aft showing a workbench equipped with three vices, two of which are a Fortis F6 and a Fortis 10. A fuse panel and a ledger shelf are above the workbench. Another workbench fitted with a Fortis F6 vice is against the port bulkhead and a Thermotank air conditioning unit is above it. An Universal machine tool comprising lathes, grinders, drill and miller is on the left with steel cupboards against the aft bulkhead. The door to the workshop is in the centre of the port bulkhead
