On board the Type 12 frigate HMS Falmouth (1959) alongside the Swan, Hunter & Wigham Richardson Ltd fitting out berth at Wallsend on the River Tyne between 1 and 25 July 1961. The photographer is in the main passageway, known as the Burma Road, between 23 and 30⅔ stations on 2 deck looking aft and slightly to starboard from 23 station showing a covered emergency cable holder, a fire main stand pipe and an emergency change over switch and connection box against the gun bay on the left. A damage control locker identified as 'Elect. No. 1' is on the right next to the sliding door of the P.Os' mess. Along the passage is the sliding door the the A/S stabilizer and plane converter compartment with two fire hose baskets next to it. A vertical format negative.
