On board the Type 12 frigate HMS Falmouth (1959) alongside the Swan, Hunter & Wigham Richardson Ltd fitting out berth at Wallsend on the River Tyne between 1 and 25 July 1961. The photographer is in the 1st lieutenant's cabin between 30¼ and 31¾ stations on the starboard side of 1 deck looking to starboard showing a desk with an air conditioning unit against the aft bulkhead. A settee berth and a bookshelf are against the starboard side and two chairs are in the cabin. A wooden door to the fan compartment is above the forward end of the settee berth.
