The photographer is in the bofors magazine between 57 and 62½ stations on the centreline of 4 deck, above the water ballast tanks and below the seamen's mess on 3 deck. The magazine is empty except for a Nu-Swift fire extinguisher and four Nu-swift fire extinguisher cartridges and four large wooden packing cases. A vertical steel ladder is against the 4MAO bulkhead.
