On board the Type 12 frigate HMS Falmouth (1959) alongside the Swan, Hunter & Wigham Richardson Ltd fitting out berth at Wallsend on the River Tyne between 1 and 25 July 1961. The photographer is in the bosun's store and the lamp and paint store between 2½ and 6 stations on 2 deck looking forward and to starboard from 4 station showing a steel bench with drawers and cupboards under on either side of the watertight door leading into the forepeak. Three wooden crates are on these benches. The bench on the left has a cupboard above it and the bench on the right has small storage bins above it. Buckets, pulley wheels and wide mesh wire netting is stored on steel shelving at high level.
