The Type 12 frigate HMS Falmouth (1959). In the main passageway between 30⅔ and 41 stations on 2 deck.

On board the Type 12 frigate HMS Falmouth (1959) alongside the Swan, Hunter & Wigham Richardson Ltd fitting out berth at Wallsend on the River Tyne between 1 and 25 July 1961. The photographer is in the main passageway, known as the Burma Road, between 30⅔ and 41 stations on 2 deck looking aft and to port from 36 station showing an emergency transformer on the right. A large wooden case encloses the emergency diesel generator and a fuse panel and row of coat hooks are above it. A large key cupboard and the ship's noticeboard are next to the door of the combined radar office. More fuse panels, a fire hose basket, emergency cable stowage and an emergency change over switch and connection box are between the combined radar office door and the closed but not clipped watertight door at 41 station. The wardroom pantry door is on the left and the open hatch down to the cabin flat on 3 deck and the stairs up to 1 deck are abaft it.
