On board the Type 12 frigate HMS Falmouth (1959) alongside the Swan, Hunter & Wigham Richardson Ltd fitting out berth at Wallsend on the River Tyne between 1 and 25 July 1961. The photographer is in the main passageway, known as the Burma Road, between 41 and 49 stations on 2 deck looking aft from 44 station showing, on the left, a 25 gallon steam kettle, the galley servery with 6 'Lowerator' plate dispensers in front of it below the roller shutter, a fuse panel, a fan starter panel, an emergency change over switch and connection box and a covered emergency cable stowage. On the right are the door to the provision issue room and a fan starter panel. The watertight door at 49 station is closed but not clipped.
