On board the Type 12 frigate HMS Falmouth (1959) alongside the Swan, Hunter & Wigham Richardson Ltd fitting out berth at Wallsend on the River Tyne between 1 and 25 July 1961. The photographer is in the C.P.Os' mess between 56½ and 61½ stations on the starboard side of 2 deck looking to port and slightly forward from 57½ station showing a settee bunk unit, a chair and an overcase locker on the left. The door to the mess is in the centre of the picture and against the forward bulkhead are a greatcoat locker, two kit lockers, two suitcase lockers, three boot lockers, a mirror and a chair. A vertical format negative.
