On board the Type 12 frigate HMS Falmouth (1959) alongside the Swan, Hunter & Wigham Richardson Ltd fitting out berth at Wallsend on the River Tyne between 1 and 25 July 1961. The photographer is in the amplifier compartment between 40 and 42 stations on the centreline of 01 deck looking forward and to starboard showing a combined broadcast amplifier unit and a large fuse unit against the forward bulkhead on the left. A main broadcast output junction box, an intercom junction box, a gun direction intercom amplifier, two loudspeakers and a foam fire extinguisher are against the starboard bulkhead. A microphone stand is in the corner. A vertical format negative.
