The photographer is in the officers' cabin flat between 35½ and 41 stations on 3 deck looking to port and forward from 41 station on the centreline showing the door to cabin 16 in the passage on the left. The watertight scuttle and the open watertight hatch lead down to a lobby on 4 deck. The stairs lead up to the wardroom lobby on 2 deck and an oiltight scuttle is under the stairs. A bedding cupboard and a passage leading to cabins 8, 10, 12 and 14 are beyond the stairs.
