On board the Type 12 frigate HMS Falmouth (1959) alongside the Swan, Hunter & Wigham Richardson Ltd fitting out berth at Wallsend on the River Tyne between 1 and 25 July 1961. The photographer is in the cooling machinery compartment between 33 and 35½ stations on the starboard side of 4 deck looking aft and to starboard showing the compressor of air conditioning machine No. 2 and the control gauges for air conditioning machine No. 3 against the aft bulkhead. Gas bottle storage is against the starboard side of the ship.
