On board the Type 12 frigate HMS Falmouth (1959) alongside the Swan, Hunter & Wigham Richardson Ltd fitting out berth at Wallsend on the River Tyne between 1 and 25 July 1961. The photographer is in the port plummer block compartment between 57 and 59 stations on 4 deck looking aft and slightly to starboard showiong the port propeller shaft and bearings. Two galvanized shelves are against the starboard bulkhead and are stacked with spare hoses, wooden packing cases numbered 188/1 and 188/2 and a wooden chest containing 'Flexotube boiler tube cleaning equipment electrical unit'. A vertical format negative.
