On board the Type 12 frigate HMS Falmouth (1959) alongside the Swan, Hunter & Wigham Richardson Ltd fitting out berth at Wallsend on the River Tyne between 1 and 25 July 1961. The photographer is in the C.P.Os'. Mess between 16 and 21½ stations on the starboard side of 2 deck looking forward from 18½ station on the starboard side showing a triple bunk unit with shelves above against the side of the ship. Six kit lockers and two suitcase lockers are on the left. Two kit lockers and a Norris Warming Co Ltd air conditioning unit are against the forward bulkhead. A vertical format negative.
