On board the Type 12 frigate HMS Falmouth (1959) alongside the Swan, Hunter & Wigham Richardson Ltd fitting out berth at Wallsend on the River Tyne between 1 and 25 July 1961. The photographer is in officer's cabin No. 17 between 39 and 41 stations on the starboard side of 3 deck looking forward and to starboard from the doorway showing a full height cupboard and the bed with drawers under against the ship's side. A bookshelf and an electric fire are against the forward bulkhead and a tubular steel chair is by the bunk.
