On board the Type 12 frigate HMS Falmouth (1959) alongside the Swan, Hunter & Wigham Richardson Ltd fitting out berth at Wallsend on the River Tyne between 1 and 25 July 1961. The photographer is in the administrative office between 31 and 32¾ stations on the port side of 3 deck looking forward and to port showing a desk with pedestal drawers and a tubular steel chair. On the desk is a covered Olivetti typewriter. Against the forward bulkhead is a MF coil supply junction box, two sliding doors cupboards, two four drawer filing cabinets and a Thermotank air conditioning unit. Against the ship's side are a pedestal desk with tubular steel chair, a telephone and a sliding door cupboard. An electric fire and an air circulating fan are against the aft bulkhead.
