On board the Type 12 frigate HMS Falmouth (1959) alongside the Swan, Hunter & Wigham Richardson Ltd fitting out berth at Wallsend on the River Tyne between 1 and 25 July 1961. The photographer is in the A/S stabilizer and plane converter compartment between 26½ and 28¼ stations on 2 deck looking to starboard and aft from the doorway showing the stabilizer unit in the centre. Against the starboard bulkhead are a foam fire extinguisher and a large fuse panel. Against the aft bulkhead are the asdic type 170B junction and relay box and the A/S mortar control junction box 4.
