On board the Type 12 frigate HMS Falmouth (1959) alongside the Swan, Hunter & Wigham Richardson Ltd fitting out berth at Wallsend on the River Tyne between 1 and 25 July 1961. The photographer is in the A/S stabilizer and plane converter compartment between 26½ and 28¼ stations on 2 deck looking to starboard and forward from the doorway showing the stabilizer unit on the right. Against the starboard bulkhead are a foam fire extinguisher, a telephone and A.S. mortar control junction box 3. Against the forward bulkhead are the Metropolitan-Vickers plane converter unit and an amplifier resistance box. A vertical format negative.
