The photographer is in the A/S stabilizer and plane converter compartment between 26½ and 28¼ stations on 2 deck looking to port and aft showing the stabilizer unit in the foreground. Against the aft bulkhead is the A/S mortar control junction box 4. Against the port bulkhead are the asdic type 170B programme starter and an A.S. mortar control relay box. The sliding door to the compartment is partly open on the right.
