On board the Type 12 frigate HMS Falmouth (1959) alongside the Swan, Hunter & Wigham Richardson Ltd fitting out berth at Wallsend on the River Tyne between 1 and 25 July 1961. The photographer is in the P.Os' pantry between 20½ and 21¼ stations on the port side of 2 deck looking forward and to port from the doorway showing a stainless steel sink unit with cutlery trays, a shelf and a cupboard under it. Plate racks are above the sink and an urn is on the right. The scuttle cover is clipped open and the porthole is also open. A vertical format negative.
