The photographer is in the C.P.Os' dining hall on the port side of 1 deck looking forward and to port showing two tables and tubular steel chairs with floral pattern covers in the foreground. the door to the mess is on the port side with an automatic emergency lantern and an air conditioning unit next to it. The servery hatch is open and four 'Lowerator' plate dispensers and a cupboard are under the hatch. Two sliding door cupboards are above the hatch. A large Jackson hot water urn is inside the servery. A hand holding a cable reklease is in the right foreground.
