On board the guided missile destroyer HMS Kent (1961) alongside the Harland & Wolff Ltd fitting out berth in the Musgrave Channel, Belfast. The photographer is looking forward from the bridge top at 03 deck level showing the two twin 4.5 inch Mark VI gun turrets and the forecastle. The ship is starboard side to the berth and ahead is the motor tanker Regent Aagle (1959). On the left is the cargo liner Waiwera (1944) undergoing a refit, having arrived at Belfast on 2 August 1963. A vertical format negative.
