The photographer is in the officers' galley between 41 and 42¾ stations on the port side of 2 deck looking forward and to port showing part of the No. 3 electric cooking range on the left with a kettle standing on it. The range control panel is next to it against the ship's side. Against the forward bulkhead are a sink unit with cupboards and drawers under and a shelf at high level.
