On board the Type 12 frigate HMS Londonderry (1958) alongside the west wall in the basin at Rosyth Dockyard, near the end of her modernization which commenced 7 July 1967 and completed 28 January 1970. The photographer is in the torpedo maintenance compartment between 54¼ and 57 stations on the starboard side of 1 deck looking aft and to starboard from the doorway showing a test bench on the left, a vacuum pump against the starboard bulkhead and two nitrogen bottles with a Vanda panel in the corner. Ramp stowage, a cupboard and a fire extinguisher are against the aft bulkhead.
