Abordage du Triton par le Corsaire le Hasard. France Maritime
This print by French artist (and occasional corsair) Louis Garneray depicts the boarding of the British ship 'Triton' by the corsair ship 'Hasard'. The corsairs are pouring over the starboard side of the 'Triton', and both sides have armed themselves with an array of weapons, including pistols, daggers, cutlasses, pikes, what appear to be brooms, and axes (most notably wielded by a man on the left behind the capstan who is about to strike down his foe whom he has hold of by the hair). Smoke from the cannon fire obscures part of the scene.
