On board the Type 12 frigate HMS Londonderry (1958) alongside the west wall in the basin at Rosyth Dockyard, near the end of her modernization which commenced 7 July 1967 and completed 28 January 1970. The photographer is in the GWS 20 missile power room between 47¾ and 51¾ stations on the starboard side of 1 deck looking forward showing a workbench with test cradle on it and a control panel at the end of it. On the right are a transformer with a launcher composite starter above it. On the left is a guidance and control cabinet.
