The photographer is in the communications control room (transmitting) (CCR(TX)) between 28 and 31 stations on the port side of 2 deck looking to starboard and slightly aft from 29 station showing cabinets 640 No. 1, 640 No. 2 and 640 No. 3. The door to the room is in the starboard bulkhead and two CO² fire extinguishers and an automatic emergency lantern are alongside it.
