On board the Type 12 frigate HMS Londonderry (1958) alongside the west wall in the basin at Rosyth Dockyard, near the end of her modernization which commenced 7 July 1967 and completed 28 January 1970. The photographer is in the communications control room (receiving) (CCR(RX)) between 24¾ and 28 stations on the port side of 2 deck looking forward and to starboard from 27 station showing a CCR receiver switch and fuse distribution panel, an automatic emergency lantern and two CO² fire extinguishers against the forward bulkhead. A CJA receiver cabinet container CJA Nos. 1 and 2 is on the right against the starboard bulkhead and the door to the room is next to it.
