On board the Type 12 frigate HMS Londonderry (1958) alongside the west wall in the basin at Rosyth Dockyard, near the end of her modernization which commenced 7 July 1967 and completed 28 January 1970. The photographer is in the hangar between 49 and 57 stations on 1 deck looking to starboard from 55½ station showing a shelf, a refuelling position with an avcat hand pump and cylinder, a fresh water hose and a ladder stowage at high level against the starboard bulkhead. The hangar roller shutter door is half open.
