On board the Type 12 frigate HMS Londonderry (1958) alongside the west wall in the basin at Rosyth Dockyard, near the end of her modernization which commenced 7 July 1967 and completed 28 January 1970. The photographer is in the transmitting station cooling compartment between 28¼ and 30½ stations on the centreline of 2 deck looking aft from between the two doors showing the cooling machinery. Against the aft bulkhead is the T.S. cooling compartment switch and fuse distribution panel.
