On board the Type 12 frigate HMS Londonderry (1958) alongside the west wall in the basin at Rosyth Dockyard, near the end of her modernization which commenced 7 July 1967 and completed 28 January 1970. The photographer is in the combined radar office between 36½ and 41 stations on the port side of 2 deck looking forward from the door showing a visual display unit, two PAB power units, a 944 cabinet, a 954 cabinet, a S.I.F. decoder cabinet and a video distribution unit against the ship's side on the left. A telephone and interphone switch box are against the forward bulkhead. A maintenance bench is against the starboard bulkhead and headsets for aerial maintenance lines are stowed on the end of it.
